Brief History of Armstrong-AE In Asia Pacific
Armstrong AE Inc. has made its name in trans-continental
trade since 1994. We have been actively participating and
contributing to the economic well-being of every country
we are in. In the year 2000 alone, our trade volume surpassed
the US$30,000,000 mark focusing specifically on IT related
components, industrial safety equipment and our HomeSave
Program.
The
Armstrong brand name is well known for its superior quality
products while offering value for money at the same time.
Facilitating this growth are wide variety of production bases
around the globe from United States, Mexico and Canada, as
well as new manufacturing centers in Asia,
notably China and Thailand.
In line with current global trends, we have successfully
moved away from basic manufacturing activities to global
ICT and ecological development. We are speeding up the
learning curve in bio-energy production. We strongly believe we are
a part of the 'growth industries' that offer much optimism.
Our involvement in Asia began with the formation of our
70% subsidiary company DM Industries (AP) Sdn. Bhd. back
in 1996. In hostile environment where competitive terms dictate,
we have sailed through the many ups and downs comfortably
and today, we have secured several distribution rights of
leading brands in each respective industry.
The rapid pace of globalization has opened up new frontiers
for growth. With our commitment to disseminate global well-being,
we have invited a new partner, Victor Hansen Ltd., for strategic
expansion and reach. With this new alliance, we now have
greater depth and expertise to weather ahead new challenges
and opportunities.
