Green Label in Singapore was launched in April 2002

The Singapore Energy Efficiency Council estimates that consumer could save between $5 and $10 each month by using green label alternatives. Nationwide, this could potentially slash up to 2% or $64 million a year off Singapore’s total electrical bill of $3.2 billion (1999).
