Yes. Welcome to the world of
Armstrong EcoSynergy....Let's begin by understanding who we
are and how we get here...I mean, our high standard of
living!
Background
A decent standard of living is a
basic human right. Sufficient clean water, adequate food, and shelter,
basic health-care system, educational opportunity, security and
socio-economic possibilities are essential ingredients of provide and
sustain an adequate quality of life.
And the only technology that
supports and enables these critical systems is energy, in particular
electrical energy.
The United States' Department of
Energy (DOE) describes it this way; "A strong energy portfolio for a
strong America - Efficient, clean and renewable energy sources mean a
stronger economy, cleaner environment and a greater energy independence
for America."
In short,
productive and efficient use of energy play crucial role in
our modernization process...some call it the engine of human
modern civilization. So, it is clear then that energy,
especially electrical energy is the pillar of our
prosperity... hence the concept energy prosperity.
Next, let's take
a look at the opposite ... energy poverty.
Global Energy
Poverty Is A Threat Against National Security
There is an urgent need to balance
energy supply, consumption and environmental protection. More
importantly, the need to provide over 2.0 billions people with
electrical energy so that a decent standard of living can be developed
on a sustained manner. Confronting energy poverty demands an effective
socio-economic platform beside the necessary political will to address
energy imbalances between the have and have-nots.
Energy Demand Is
Set To Reach New Height With Population & Economic Growth
Continuous escalation in energy
consumption demands a new global initiatives. As a net oil importing
country, we import well over half the petroleum and petroleum products,
as well as an increasing share of natural gas. Globalization plays a key
role in America’s reliance on energy to fuel its post- industrial
economy. America’s ability to defend energy security will leave visible
impact on the free world. “It won’t matter how much oil we recover from
Alaska or how many new power plants are built, we won’t be able to keep
up with the demands of this growing and dynamic economy.” - Spencer
Abraham, Secretary of Energy, USA (2002). The event of September 2001,
further suggests the importance of new management for global energy
prosperity to confront energy poverty in a holistic manner.
Armstrong-AE is established with
these goals in mind. We’ve over the years invested in the poorest, so
that we may nurture them through technology and education; we then
purchase from them thereby creating wealth amongst them. Our initiative
for a “better quality of life for all” has been greatly enhanced by the
advancements made in internet and telecommunication industries.
Armstrong Cyber Structure is now the backbone of our initiative across
the world, serving millions of people from all walks of life and opening
up new frontiers of socio-economic possibilities and opportunities.

(biological, social & economical) affect the lives of billions. The
world’s 10 most largest corporations have bigger financial muscle
than some 100 smaller countries. Uncontrolled population growth is a
major cause of continuous poverty. We seek to do our bit in
balancing these imbalances. We invest, nurture and purchase from the
weak thus creating wealth amongst the poor. We empower them to
synergize with human advancement in conjunction with ecological
ideal. How you spend your money will affect the lives of many. Your
purchasing power when used wisely can make a difference.
With over 2
billions of the Earth's population living without chance to escape
poverty, corporate America is taking leading role to reduce the threat
of energy poverty. Armstrong is proud to be an active participant of

This Mission Statement gives
birth to Armstrong-AE involvement in eco-socio-economic

AGENe pronounced as "A-gene"

Why now?
What is the urgency?

A report by the World Bank and the
United Nations Environment and Development Programs stated that intense
industrial growth will mitigate efforts to reduce climate-changing gas
emissions. At the same time, the world’s population is expected to
increase by 50% to 8.3 billion by 2025, with two-thirds (2/3) massed in
congested cities and thereby causing more environmental damage.

Poverty is a symptom of our failure
to provide cheap and efficient energy technology. It is a vicious cycle
for most of the problems confronting the peace and ecological system of
the world. In India, 47% of all children below the age of three years
malnourished and 125 million children ages 6 - 11 around the world have
no chance to get an education. And without an education, they have no
way to escape poverty.

Poverty is a result of inadequate
economic opportunities , which in turn is affected by the unavailability
of affordable energy. It is not coincidental that the number of people
worldwide living on less than $1 a day is about the same as the number
lacking access to commercial energy: two billion.

When 40% of the world’s population
is doomed to a life of hopeless and desperate poverty, the consequences
are clear: frustration, unrest and instability.

The solution is abundantly clear:
confront energy poverty with creation of economic development and
provision of affordable energy. What can we do? Armstrong Global
EcoSynergy Network (AGENe) is initiated as part of the global movement for
lasting peaceful and clean environment. Both of these noble goals are
shared responsibilities among every citizen of planet Earth. AGENe creates
a vibrant and rewarding platform more appealing for every ordinary man
and woman to make positive contribution towards these goals.
How Can
Ordinary People Like Us Help?

You can
contribute your contacts by emailing our web-site to as many
people as possible. Your recommendation is providing us additional
opportunities to reach out our message to those who care or;

You can
contribute by practicing energy efficient habits such as
switching off unused lights and choose the right size of electrical
equipments that fit a particular works, etc. or;

You can
join us as an EcoPartner, if you want to participate in a
more meaningful way, use EcoSynergy products and start becoming more
energy efficient. It is estimated that an ordinary American family
is paying some 40% of its power bills toward unused or wasted
energy. Another estimate has it that the same family is able to save
as many as 60 trees a year simply by being more energy efficient.

to the world that helps our initiative in any way possible. You can
write to the editor of your favorite magazine or newspaper about our
